Five-piece armor, crouching and smarter loot
Our last playtest left us with a clear wish list – v6 works through it.

- Armor in five pieces – helmet, chestplate, gauntlets, greaves and boots. Five slots above your shield show what you wear, in the color of its rarity.
- No more downgrades – a piece that is worse than or equal to yours stays on the ground.
- Real armor models on the ground instead of boxes, so you can tell what you're picking up.
- Crouch and sneak with Ctrl – half speed, quiet footsteps, a smaller target. Cover behind low walls finally works.
- Loot for your class – chests only give weapons and abilities your class can use, or neutral ones.
- Easier pickup – loot no longer falls into walls or lands on top of crates.
- Five new weapons – Hail Blunderbuss, Double-Barrel Pistol, Composite Bow, Ember Sceptre (sets targets on fire) and Shard Staff (fires three shards in a fan).
- 1 vs 1 is now best of five – die, get back up somewhere else in the circle after 3 seconds. First to 3 points wins.
- Tournaments – check-in before the start (the waitlist moves up), duo cups, titles and crown prizes for the best, a spectator mode for casters and a stream overlay.
- Crashed mid-match? Your hero waits three minutes for you – hit “Back into the match” in the menu.
New network format: online play needs v6.
